We are excited to add Photography and Engagement opportunities to our farm this year.  Please note we are only opening our farm up on limited days for this.  If you don't see it on the calendar below, it is NOT available.  If we add extra days we will send out an email with more information.

The photo/engagement session do not include any flower picking.  You can add this at a 20% discount by reaching out ahead of time.  You can pay by venmo or cash.  Please get ahold of us ahead of time so that we can have this set up for you when you arrive.

Please respect the time slot you choose.  We are opening our homestead in off hour times for people to enjoy.  Please respect the time given;   Arrive at your set time, depart at your set time.

​

We will be there to greet you and check you in at the time given and then you are on your own in the flower field.  Barn is off limits.  This is a photo op in the flower field.

​

Please note that this is a working farm not built as a photography studio.  You may come across things out of our control such as bugs, mud, puddles, equipment, hoses, ect.  We grow our flowers for production, not for photo opportunities.  We have seen the work of amazing photographers.  They can find beauty as it exists!!

In the case of inclement weather we are happy to reschedule.  We do not offer refunds.

NO PETS ALLOWED - Please do not ask us to bend this rule.

Small children need to be watched.  This is not only a place of business but our private residence.  We hope that it is respected by all that visit.

We are not responsible for injuries that may occur.

​

You are responsible to take out what you bring in.  It is not the farm’s job to clean up.   Thank you for understanding this.

FAQ's

Can we pick flowers during our photo session?

You can if you have set it up ahead of time with us.  It is in not included in the session.  You will get a 20% discount at the time of the shoot.  Please reach out to us ahead of time.

Can we bring pets?

No.  We will not bend the rules on this.

​

Can we just do a photo session in your open Upick times?

Any customer with a ticket is more than welcome to take pictures during a upick.  We do not expect our other patrons to move out of the way of pictures.  We also do not allow props or reflectors to be brought in during upicks.  These things can be done during your own photo session.  Everyone is here to enjoy the farm and the beauty around them equally.

Where are we allowed to take pictures?

You are allowed to take pictures in the flower field.  The barn is not part of the flower field.  Please do not take the liberty to wander the property.  Please stay within the flower rows.  We will guide you to them upon checking you in.

Can we bring multiple families/seniors to one photo time?  

No.  If you would like to do mini sessions, please reach out to us.  This is limited to one family, one senior, one couple per hour.

I don't see the date I want, If I email you will you add it?

No.  We have certain days on there for a reason.  Other days there may be events or upicks and some days we just want the property to ourselves.  These are the current days/times available.  Please choose from them if you would like to shoot at the farm.

IMPORTANT:  Our farm is surrounded by many large trees.  Our golden hour may not be as late as expected.  Please keep this in mind when scheduleing.

If you are hoping for dahlias in your shoot, book late August - September.

If you are hoping for Goldenrod book Late August - Early September.  This window is not guaranteed.  Goldenrod has a short bloom time.

Please respect these rules.  We have held off on photography for years because of the worry.  We want others to enjoy the flowers as much as us but be kind to our farm.
